2009 Learn To Skate Lesson Program
LEARN TO SKATE LEVELS AND ELEMENTS
Welcome to Learn to Skate! This curriculum is provided by US Figure Skating and is taught all around the country! Each element is a “stepping stone” to the next, it is important for skaters to be proficient in all aspects of the level before moving on to the next. At the end of every session the skater will receive a “report card” including all the elements on the level and recommendation on the next level. Our instructors will be happy to give you an update at any time during the session.
SNOWPLOW SAM Snowplow Sam is designed for our youngest skaters ages 4 & 5. The elements are designed to help achieve the strength and coordination to get our pre-school aged skaters moving! After your skater has completed Snowplow Sam 1-3 they will go directly to Basic 2. CLICK HERE to view the curriculum for Snowplow Sam 1-3.
THE BASIC EIGHTS The skills learned in Basic 1-8 will supply your skater with the fundamentals to advance to any area of ice skating. CLICK HERE to view the curriculum for Basic 1-8.
